Therapeutic Approach
I see the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of meaningful work together. In our sessions, we focus on what you are experiencing in your life now: how you relate to yourself and others, what feels challenging, and what you want to move toward. When helpful, we will also reflect on earlier experiences or long-standing patterns to better understand what continues to shape your responses today.
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These evidence-based approaches help understand the links between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and offer practical tools for navigating daily challenges. At the same time, they support longer-term change by building psychological flexibility and helping you live more in line with your values.
Psychological Assessments
I offer psychological assessments to help explore emotional, cognitive, or behavioural patterns that may be affecting your well-being. These tools can provide valuable insights into challenges such as anxiety, attention difficulties, or relationship dynamics that can help guide our sessions. For example, an anxiety questionnaire might help clarify what situations trigger distress or how symptoms show up in daily life.
While I am not authorized to provide formal psychiatric diagnoses, these assessments can support our therapeutic work and help guide referrals if further evaluation is needed.
